Multiple awards:
For leadership, change and effectiveness
undconsorten was once again recognised as a Hidden Champion in the Leadership & Organisation and Change Management categories - a recognition of our consistent work on effective leadership, clear orientation and successful change. We are delighted to receive these awards - above all because they show that our approach works: close to people, clear on the matter and always focussed on sustainable impact.
Hidden Champion for leadership & organisation and change management
Since 2014, we have been continuously recognised as one of the best top management consultancies in various categories. In 2025, we are once again among the best organisational consultancies in Germany - a great confirmation of our expertise and successful collaboration with our clients.
Leadership & Organisation category
As in the last five rankings since 2015, we once again took first place in the "Leadership & Organisation" category and have been able to significantly widen the gap to our competitors over the years. This category covers topics such as leadership systems, HR strategies, HR and talent management, organisational design and corporate culture.
Change Management category
We also outperformed all major competitors in the "Change Management" category and have now once again been recognised as a Hidden Champion. This category covers consulting services for designing sustainable change processes and enabling planned organisational change in companies.
Interview with Dr Jens Müller-Oerlinghausen
Our sixth consecutive award at the Hidden Champions of the consulting market was the occasion for a short interview with Dr Jens Müller-Oerlinghausen at this year's Champions Dinner, organised by WGMB - Wissenschaftliche Gesellschaft für Management und Beratung and Capital Magazin.
Thanks to all our clients for their feedback and appreciation as well as to Prof. Dietmar Fink, Dr Bianka Knoblach and Marvin E. Molwitz for the fantastic organisation and their invaluable contribution to the visibility of our industry!
What do people actually understand by terms such as "change management" and "leadership"?
We have analysed with our 7 success factors of excellent organisations and asked how people interpret terms such as change management and leadership. The answers? Refreshingly honest, surprisingly creative and sometimes wonderfully quirky.
Fittingly, we are particularly pleased to have once again been recognised as a Hidden Champion in precisely these two categories. The videos are our little wink, because despite our pride and focus on top performance, development happens when people listen to each other, ask the right questions and negotiate different perspectives.
Change management
"Yes, I'd like to know that too." Wonderfully direct. At undconsorten, change management means supporting people and organisations in such a way that change becomes understandable, is supported - and really works. We rely on customised approaches that meet the individual needs of our clients.
Leadership & People Development
"Getting people to do more for less, with bigger smiles on their faces." Score, sunk. For us at undconsorten, the emphasis is on the "smiles" rather than the somewhat cynical "more for less". This is the core of our approach: empowering people, promoting clarity and creating a framework in which talents can unfold - so that development is possible for everyone.
Two perspectives, one passion:
Effective leadership and good change
What makes consulting really good? In this short interview to mark our fifth award in 2024, Dr Jens Müller-Oerlinghausen and Dr Axel Sauder give a personal insight into what lies behind the Hidden Champion award, why leadership and change are inextricably linked and what drives us when working with our clients. A video that shows how we think - and what is important to us.
Hidden champion - scientifically confirmed
The independent study led by Prof Dr Dietmar Fink identifies those consultancies as hidden champions that...
... are comparatively unknown in the top management of German companies.
... are active in the same market as the consulting champions (McKinsey, BCG, Bain).
... have a higher rated competence in a consulting area than the champions.
Consultancies cannot apply to qualify and be recognised as hidden champions. The pre-selection is made exclusively on the recommendation of an independent panel of experts from science and practice.
The independent Hidden Champions study is organised by the Wissenschaftliche Gesellschaft für Management und Beratung (WGMB) and is carried out in collaboration with the magazine Capital magazine.
