How a well thought-out leadership architecture enables managers to meet the different expectations of the organisation
As part of a round table in Vienna, managers and HR experts from various organisations came together to shed light on key issues relating to the development of leadership architecture and culture.
The interactive format of keynote speeches and moderated group discussions enabled the exchange of practice-orientated approaches - including the following topics:
- How can HR initiatives have a lasting impact on leadership behaviour and quality?
- What other influencing factors have an impact on leadership culture - even outside of traditional HR responsibilities?
Key findings from the dialogue:
- In a dynamic and increasingly complex environment, managers play a key role. A structured leadership architecture creates orientation and focuses leadership on the success of the organisation.
- The further development of leadership requires customised approaches - not a universal lever, but prioritised measures that take the respective context into account.
- The targeted design of so-called moments that matter - i.e. formative situations in day-to-day management that can influence sustainable behaviour - is particularly effective.
Leadership is a decisive lever for the sustainable success of organisations - and requires systematic, context-related development.
