Vernissage "The Council" by Uwe Wittwer

The artist Uwe Wittwer, who lives in Zurich and Berlin, works with historical photo archives, painterly references to art history and a unique negative technique that makes shadows visible.

On 11 June 2026 (7-10 pm), Wittwer will present selected works in our rooms on Kurfürstendamm. The exhibition breaks down traditional series of works into thematic areas - it sees itself as a dialectical encounter between historical reflection and aesthetic transformation.
