Change Barometer
Your strategic tool for measurable change success
Shaping change successfully - with measurable, continuous insights.
Change is the only constant factor in the business world. But how do you know whether your transformation processes are actually achieving the desired success? The Change Barometer offers you a precise, data-supported solution to continuously measure the progress of your change, record the mood of your employees and manage it in a targeted manner.
Why use the Change Barometer?
- In many companies, it is difficult to measure the true progress of change processes. There is often a lack of objective data to help you take timely countermeasures and implement changes sustainably. With the Change Barometer, you receive regular, valid feedback from the entire organisation - so you can precisely steer and adapt the change process.
- The Change Barometer asks you the right questions, collects the necessary data and provides you with practical insights to help you organise your transformation in an effective and targeted manner.
How does the Change Barometer work?
- Flexibly customisable surveys
The Change Barometer is based on a tried-and-tested catalogue of questions created along the Wheel of Change dimensions. These dimensions (understanding, wanting, being allowed, being able, believing) form the backbone of change processes. The questions are customised to your specific project phase and the requirements of your company. This means you always receive relevant, context-specific data. - Regular pulse checks
To measure the mood of employees and the progress of the project, the Change Barometer is used regularly - ideally every 2-3 months. This enables continuous measurement of changes and rapid adjustment of measures. Participation only takes 3-5 minutes per survey, minimising the effort required. - Simple and user-friendly participation
The surveys can be carried out on all end devices - whether on a smartphone, tablet or PC. All your employees need is an email link to participate, which takes them directly to the survey. This makes participation as simple and efficient as possible. - Data protection & anonymity
The Change Barometer guarantees 100% GDPR compliance. The surveys are anonymous and no personal data is collected. All results are analysed at an aggregated level without allowing conclusions to be drawn about individual persons.
Advantages of the Change Barometer
- Continuous measurement of success: The Change Barometer provides you with regular, reliable data on the effectiveness of your change measures. This allows you to track the progress of your transformation in real time and take countermeasures quickly if necessary.
- Clear monitoring of employee sentiment: Gain valuable insights into employee perceptions and identify hurdles and resistance in the change process at an early stage.
- Customisable: The questionnaire can be flexibly adapted to meet the specific requirements and objectives of your project. This ensures that you always receive relevant and insightful data.
- Target group-orientated evaluation: The results are differentiated and presented in a comprehensible form that is useful for both employees and managers. This enables all relevant stakeholders to understand the data and make appropriate decisions.
- Action-orientated results: Specific fields of action and recommendations are derived on the basis of the survey results. These help you to manage and adapt your change measures in a targeted manner.
The process in detail
1. preparation & creation of the barometer
Catalogue of questions: At the beginning, we work with you to define which questions along the Wheel of Change dimensions are relevant to your specific situation. This catalogue of questions can be flexibly adapted to the various project phases.
Technical implementation: The barometer is implemented in the LamaPoll tool, which is 100% GDPR-compliant and easy to use. We are also happy to integrate the barometer into other IT environments in your company if required.
2. realisation of the surveys
Test run: Before the surveys go live, we carry out a test run to ensure that everything works smoothly.
Invitation emails: We send the invitations to participate to all relevant employees and remind them if necessary to achieve a high response rate.
Reminders: A reminder 48 hours before the end of the survey ensures a higher participation rate and more reliable results.
3. evaluation of the results
Automated analysis: The LamaPoll tool provides an initial visual analysis that helps you to quickly recognise trends and distributions of responses.
Detailed analysis: We prepare a detailed analysis that is differentiated according to relevant criteria such as department, seniority or role structure. This helps you to understand exactly where there is a need for action.
4. derivation of recommendations for action
Identify fields of action: Based on the results, we derive specific measures that will lead to improvements in the change processes. In doing so, we take into account specific challenges and opportunities arising from the survey results.
5. communication of the results
Target group-specific communication: We prepare the results in such a way that they are understandable and relevant to action for all stakeholders. This includes management reports and clear presentations for managers and employees.
