Fast Culture Review
Cost- and time-efficient alternative to comprehensive cultural diagnostics

A fast culture review offers a compact but in-depth look at the corporate culture in practice and its fit with the strategic goals. In a focussed process, we work with the Executive Board and selected managers to identify which cultural strengths are already effective - and where targeted changes are needed to achieve the desired target culture. With the help of a scientifically based diagnostic tool and a joint workshop with top management, we create transparency about opportunities and areas for action. This quickly creates a clear basis for shaping culture in a targeted manner and effectively anchoring strategic changes.

Culture inventory

Brief diagnosis

In this compact cultural diagnosis, we combine strategic clarity with real cultural depth. In interviews with the participants, we shed light on the strategic goals that drive the organisation, the culture that should support these goals and where the current strengths and areas for development lie. In addition, we involve selected managers and use proven tools such as the Organisational Culture Inventory (OCI®) or the 9 Levels of Value Systems® to gain a precise picture of the lived culture. In this way, an honest, inspiring view of the company's cultural foundation is created in a short space of time - as a starting point for effective development and sustainable success.

Reflection and commitment

Alignment workshop

In the alignment workshop, we look to the future: building on the diagnostic results, we concretise how cultural development should be designed and anchored. Together, we clarify key questions about the direction, approach and involvement of relevant groups - and define how existing initiatives and upcoming events can be used as levers for cultural transformation. The result is a clear roadmap that effectively combines strategy and culture.

Brief diagnosis

As part of the Fast Culture Review 's brief diagnosis, we quickly gain a clear picture of how the current corporate culture supports - or hinders - strategic goals. In targeted interviews with the Executive Board, we analyse which strategic priorities have been set, what culture is needed to achieve them and where the current strengths and weaknesses lie. In addition, we carry out a compact cultural diagnostic with selected managers, for example using proven tools such as the Organisational Culture Inventory (OCI®)or the 9 Levels of Value Systems®. This creates a sound, data-based foundation for the further development of a sustainable corporate culture.

Selection of our tools

9 Levels of Value Systems

At undconsorten, we use the 9 Levels of Value Systems as an effective tool to make the culture of an organisation tangible. The model, which is based on the integral development model by Prof. Clare W. Graves (also known as "Spiral Dynamics"), helps us to understand which value systems are present and which would be necessary to achieve strategic goals - both at an individual, team and organisational level.

This transparency allows us to describe tailored development measures and point out a clear direction for change.

Organisational Culture Inventory (OCI®)

The Organisational Culture Inventory (OCI®) is a scientifically based diagnostic tool for measuring and describing the corporate culture in practice. It records the behavioural patterns, norms and values that shape everyday working life and shows how these influence the performance, cooperation and satisfaction of employees.
By comparing the actual and target culture, the OCI® makes it clear in which areas there is a need for change - and provides a clear basis for further developing culture in a targeted and impact-oriented manner.

Alignment workshop

The results of the cultural diagnosis are the starting point for a subsequent alignment workshop, in which key cultural fields of action are quickly and specifically identified. In a compact format, the top team creates a common understanding, prioritises the most important topics and defines the first steps for further development - efficiently, focused and deliberately without the direct involvement of employees or the works council. This creates clarity about the direction, priorities and approach in a short space of time.

Reflection

At the beginning, the results of the cultural diagnosis take centre stage - with the clear aim of deriving specific fields of action from them. Together with the top team, we analyse what the findings mean for the organisation, which cultural patterns should be strengthened and which should be developed further in a targeted manner. Specific areas of action are then derived - differentiated according to quick wins that can be initiated immediately, as well as elements of a possible cultural development process, the scope and timing of which is also framed in the workshop.

Commitment

An important element of successful cultural development is for top management to set an example of the target culture. For this reason, we also define in the workshop what role the Management Board would like to play in the upcoming process. A helpful method is "Request and Commit", in which the workshop participants formulate expectations of each other and these are recorded as commitments if they are accepted. This creates clarity, responsibility and the basis for the next steps in cultural development.

In a short space of time, the workshop creates what is often missing in cultural issues: a shared image, a common direction and personal responsibility at the top. Cultural development is thus not addressed as an abstract endeavour, but as a controllable management project with clear initial steps, real commitment and a clear mandate for further action.
